About Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine have been used successfully for thousands of years by Asian cultures to address various health concerns.

Acupuncture is recognized by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to be effective for treating a wide variety of medical problems.

A brief list of conditions that acupuncture has been effective in treating includes: addictions, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, depression, digestive disorders, emotional problems, fatigue, fertility, insomnia, menopause, migraine headaches, PMS, sprains and stress.

In recent years, recognition from organizations such as the WHO and NIH has helped bring these ancient models of healing into the spotlight and legitimize their use in the western world.

Oriental Medicine consists of many treatment modalities which include: Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, moxibustion, cupping, diet modification, asian body work, qi gong and tai chi. Provided alone or in combination, these modalities provide a safe, effective way to address many ailments.
